Darrell Solet, MD

About Dr. Solet

Dr. Darrell Solet is a Cardiologist at Terrebonne General Health System and Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Houma, Louisiana. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Solet is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine for Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and regularly hosts and mentors medical students from Dartmouth’s Urban Health Scholars program. He also offers a cardiology elective for Dartmouth students during their clinical years.

Dr. Solet serves as the director of the CIS telemedicine program. He also plays an integral part of our structural heart program for minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of heart disease.  He has authored and co-authored publications in cardiovascular medicine, and his primary areas of interest are preventive cardiology, valvular heart disease, clinical education, and advancing the reach of cardiology services to critical access areas through telemedicine.
