Terrebonne General Health System Announces Two New Board Members

Terrebonne General Health System and Southern Regional Medical Corporation (SRMC) Board of Commissioners announce the appointment of two new board members, Mark S. Felger, CPA-Retired, and Jerome P. Zeringue, beginning in August 2025.
Mark S. Felger obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Nicholls State University in 1990. He is the Treasurer and CFO of Bremark, Inc. d/b/a Felger’s Footwear. He has over 35 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, and income tax return preparation.
Mark Felger is a former Chapter President and Director of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, a Past Member of the LCPA Financial Institutions Committee, the Current Treasurer of the Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence in Public Education, and the current President-elect and member of the Kiwanis Club of Houma.
Jerome P. Zeringue earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Louisiana State University in 1986 and his Master of Science in Fisheries Science from Louisiana State University in 1989. He is working toward his Doctorate in Water Resource Management from Tulane University. He is the current Louisiana House of Representative for District 52 of Houma and the Principal of Progressive Coastal Consultants, where he provides project, process, and compliance guidance to companies regarding coastal resource management and coastal protection and restoration projects.
Representative Zeringue’s committee assignments include Appropriations, Elected Member, Judiciary, Natural Resources and Environment, House Select Committee on Disaster Recovery, Chair Joint Medicaid Oversight Committee, and Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.
