Terrebonne General Health System Honored Dr. Ben Adams as a Recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Award

Terrebonne General Health System honored Dr. Ben Adams, an anesthesiologist, as the recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Award. Dr. Adams is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Echocardiography. Dr. Adams has previously served as Vice Chief of Medical Staff, Chief of Staff, Director of Anesthesiology, and Medical Director of Surgery at Terrebonne General. Dr. Adams has been on staff at Terrebonne General for 16 years and is currently a member of the Terrebonne General Board of Commissioners.

Dr. Adams graduated from medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky. He completed his Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, and his Fellowship at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The prominent Golden Stethoscope Award publicly recognizes a Terrebonne General physician for exceptional professionalism, integrity, and teamwork in caring for patients and families and interacting with hospital staff members and other physicians. Two physicians are recognized with this award each year.
