Harassment Policy

Sexual Harassment

It is the policy of Terrebonne General to maintain a working environment that is free from harassment of any type or form, including sexual harassment, racial or ethnic harassment, gender harassment, religious harassment, disability harassment, age harassment, and any other harassment, Terrebonne General will not tolerate any offensive, intimidation, coercive, or hostile conduct.

Complaint Procedure

Any employee, who feels that he or she has been subjected to or witnessed any kind of harassment, including sexual harassment, should immediately report the situation to their supervisor/department director who will alert Human Resources. If the complaint directly concerns the department director, employees may initiate the matter with the Vice President who is responsible for their department or Human Resources. If the employee feels a situation is an immediate threat to their safety, Security should be contacted immediately.

No employee will be retaliated against for registering a complaint about suspected harassment.
