Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center To Host The Gala Goes to Mardi Gras Presented by Louis Mohana Furniture

Houma, LA, December 2022 – Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center will host The Gala Goes to Mardi Gras on January 13, 2023, at 6:30 pm. The Cancer Center’s signature fundraising event benefiting patients and families in the Bayou Region is back in person for the first time since 2019. The Gala Goes to Mardi Gras, presented by Louis Mohana Furniture, will bring an unforgettable experience paying homage to our carnival culture in South Louisiana.

Guests will gather at Mardi Gras Hall in downtown Houma to enjoy delicious food, creative cocktails, and a beautiful silent auction. In addition, a Royal Krewe consisting of four men and four women will fundraise in the community. The man and woman who raise the most money for Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center will be crowned King and Queen of The Gala during the event. Funds raised by the Krewe will provide resources for patients and their families at Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, including patient navigation, nutritional supplements, transportation assistance, free screening opportunities, access to clinical trials, and so much more.
