About Dr. Brown

Dr. Peomia Chela Brown is a pulmonologist, critical care, and sleep medicine specialist at Terrebonne General Health System in Houma, Louisiana. She is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is board-eligible in Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. She is excited to join the Terrebonne General Pulmonary Care team, where she will specialize in both pulmonary and sleep disorders.

Dr. Brown evaluates and treats pulmonary disorders, including (but not limited to) cough, respiratory failure, obstructive lung disease (asthma and COPD), and lung nodules.

Dr. Brown also specializes in all sleep disorders, including (but not limited to) sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, hypersomnia, parasomnias, and movement disorders of sleep.

When she is not working, Dr. Brown enjoys reading, baking, traveling, volleyball, and creating memories with her family.
