Super Sitters Program
The
Super Sitters Program is an interactive educational initiative designed to equip participants
with the necessary tools to become confident, capable babysitters. For
youth ages
11-15, this program prepares students to be better babysitters when caring for
infants and children.
Participants will learn how to stay safe, respond in emergencies, select
age-appropriate activities, and recognize and manage a variety of behaviors.
The program also includes Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification,
as well as babysitter certification. Students will also learn the basics
of starting a babysitting business and the skills needed to manage it.
According to the CDC, unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death in children aged 1-14. By providing these certifications, we aim to significantly reduce this statistic. This will empower our youth with the necessary skills to respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations involving infants and children.
This half-day course will prepare your youth with the knowledge and confidence they need to be a Super Sitter:
- Safety, First Aid and CPR
- Handling Emergency Situations
- Creative Problem Solving
- Communication
- Business Building
- Professionalism
- Leadership
What's Included:
