Vaping Education

More than one in four high school students vape, the use of e-cigarettes by teens has increased 135% over the last two years, and vaping-related illnesses are on the rise, amounting to what the U.S. Surgeon General has called a youth vaping epidemic.

Terrebonne General Health System's Vaping: Hit the Truth Program exposes the truth and highlights the harmful effects of vaping, smoking, and tobacco use, which will provide a productive countermeasure to lessen the number of teens in our schools who vape and use tobacco, and also prevent teens from this behavior in the future. This multi-component approach will promote healthy living amongst youth in our area by including awareness, detection, and education.

Terrebonne General Health System is dedicated to creating a healthier space for all students and setting them up for a lifetime of success, including helping our students live tobacco-free lives.
